My day for inspiration at TOMIC - You Are So Special Collection 2011

Hi!

 And welcome to my day here at TOMIC.

Today i want to show you a card i made to my dear friend at her birthday.

I hope you find some inspiration with my card.

Today i have use a little older Tilda to my cards.

I have made a card that measures 15x15 cm.

I have used a die from the GoKreate.

I used Bazzill cardstock "Powder Blue"

and the sweet pattern paper from  Pion Design.

Easter Greetings-" Spring meadow"

I stamp Tilda with "Versafine-Onyx Black".

"This Tilda is from You are so special Collection 2011"

And her name is: Tilda with Ballon.

I have painted Tilda with Distress ink.

Most in the blue color this time :)

All edges are inked with Distress pads "walnut stain"

The edges around Tilda and patterns papers are

sewed with my sewing machine.

I have put some Cracle accent in Tildas ballon.

I think it looks good.

Some of my decorations that I used on the card is:

Lace,cheesecloth, halfpearls

doily…and  stickles, sisals, charms and some white color…

Some flower on my card and i loooove flowers.

Flowers made me happy :)

I love flowers in different colors... so it is a must on my cards.

But todays flower is most in blue and white :)

I usually paint on my flowers with white color, and put some stickles on.

I think it is so beautiful.

And i put some "sissel" under the flower to…

Something I like is when Pauline make small lyrics for the stamps.

This lyrics is from the collection

This beautiful tag is a DooHickey Die from Magnolia.

The name is Tildas Tag.

Welcome to TOMIC - Challenge # 1 "Spring + use at least one die"

Welcome to 

The Official Magnolia Inspirational Challenge!

After the three day introduction we have had wherein our Design Team answered 5 questions about how they joined the Magnolia Design Team, it is now time for our fantastic challenge.

We will have a challenge every 1st of the month but on top of that our Design Team will individually post a project/tutorial during the month to share their inspiration.

And what better way to start up our challenge with the sense of Spring in our hearts?

Therefore the theme we have chosen for you this month is

SPRING plus use at least one Magnolia die 

in your project.

*** There will be a prize for one randomly chosen winner. ***

This prize is being offered directly by Magnolia.

The Design Team will also choose the Top 5 amongst the participants.

One of these Top 5 will be offered a Guest Designer spot in our blog.

The Top 5 projects and the Guest Designer will be published here on the 28th of March.

The randomly chosen winner's name will be published on the

 1st of the following month which is also the date of the next challenge.

Now I will show my card I  made for our first challenge where theme is 

SPRING

I have used this little sweet Tilda, think she is really cute.

Challenge #1 - Spring

I have made a card that measures 15x15 cm.

I have used a die from the GoKreate.

I used Bazzill cardstock "Vanilla",

and the sweet pattern paper from  Maja Design.

Vintage Romance -" Walk with me"

I stamp Tilda with "Versafine-Onyx Black".

"This Tilda is from Spring Fever Collection 2016"

And her name is: Tilda with spring flower.

I have painted Tilda with Distress ink.

Most in the yellow color this time :)

The edges around Tilda and patterns papers are

we thought we wanted to present ourself.

Hi!

My name is Camilla and I live in Borås, Sweden. 

I live with my two daughters and my husband Johan. 

I worked 30 years as a nurse for old people. I love my job, it gives me a lot of love.
On my free time I make cards, love to color the cute image. 

I always love to bake cakes and spend time in the nature.

It gives me lots of energy.

1. My first meeting with Magnolia 
My first meeting with Magnolia was 11 years ago when my daughter brought me to their boutique in Borås. A whole new world opened up for me and I got carried away of all the papers, colors, stamps etc. I remember seeing previous DT team members Linda and Petra making cards and I was impressed.

2. How did I get in the DT? 

3. How long have I been a member? 
I’ve been a member of the DT team over 11 years and it all started when I got asked to make a test-card for Magnolia since they were looking for new representation from Sweden. A few weeks later I met with Barbro and she asked if I wanted to be a part of Magnolias DT team. I was so happy and I’m very thankful for everything I’ve done these 11 years.

I’m proud and thankful to be a part of the Magnolia team. To be a part of Magnolia for over 10 years is a blessing. I’ve got to know so many friends through Magnolia and also met friends for life. Two very good friends of mine are Camilla Stoen Bakke

and Lillemor, and the happiness was total when they joined the team. I have met them in real life several times. Magnolia is like a family for me and I’ve been on special exhibitions with them which been very funny. 

And also many Magnoliadays i Borås (i miss them a lot)

I love you Barbro John and Pauline, you always have i special place in my heart.

4. One of mine favourite stamp? 
My favorite stamp? I’ve asked myself this question multiple times and it’s a hard question to answer. 

I love animals and I get happy when I see Tilda with an animal. The list is long but To name a few:

5. What do I colour your Magnolias with? 
I paint the Magnolia stamps with distress ink re-inkers, marker and pads.

I love to paint my Magnoliastamps, the hours just fly away.

6.Anything else that I want to share with you.

I love my hobby and everything that has to do with Magnolia. 

My style of the cards are the typical Scandinavian style; light pastel colors in shabby chic with a lot of white flowers is my signature card. 
I usually make the cards in the colors of blue, pink, yellow and green. I build layers and layers with
decorations of lace, flowers, cheesecloth`s, pearls, stickles etc.
I love all the cute motives Pauline is creating, especially the sweet Tilda stamps. I adore her background text and lyrics on all motives.
My room where I create all these things are holy to me, 
and nobody can touch it except from me.
And absolutely don't touch my stamps ;)

Då är jag tillbaka med ännu ett Julkort som gjordes förra året.
Känns konstigt att säga förra året, vi var ju nyss där.
Det här motivet kom i Pop-up boxen Volym 5.
Visst är hon jättesöt?

Kortets st är 15x15 cm.

Jag har använt Bazzill cardstock  Kraft,

och mönsterpapper från Maja Design.

"Christmas Season - Family Reunion"

Alla kanter är chalkade med Distress pads "walnut stain"

Och kanterna runt motivet och mönsterpappren är 

sydda med symaskin.

Som kortstomme har jag använt en die från GoKreate.

Holidays Tilda från"Home for the Holidays Collection 2018"

Distress ink:

Hud: Vintage photo och Tattered rose.

Hår: Antique Linnen och Walnut stain.

Kläder:Bundled sage, Frayed Burlap,Weatered wood.

Hjärta: Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany.

Jag har stämplat motivet med "Versafine" - Onyx Black.

Motivet är målat på Langton papper med en syntetpensel i st 00,000. 

För att få lite mera vintrig effekt runt Tilda, 
har jag dekorerat med Fran-tage som är ett embossing puder. 

Dekorationer som jag använt till detta kortet är bl:a 

Spets, halvpärlor, pyntbär, kakservett, sissel, wellpapp,

blommor och vitfärg, gasbinda m.m

Texten "Merry Christmas" kommer även den från Magnolia.

Jag har stansat ut snöstjärnan med en die från Magnolia och 

DooHickey Box vol 2 "All I Want for Christmas"

Chalkat snöstjärnan med Walnut satin 

och dekorerat det med lite stickles stardust.

Jag har använt den vackra DooHickey Die from Magnolia

som heter "Tildas tag"

Dom fina texterna kommer även dom från Magnolia.

Blommorna kommer från WOC.

Under blommorna brukar jag fästa lite "sissel"

Här har jag först dekorerat blommorna med vit dekorations färg.

Jag har sedan strött över snökristaller i glas.

Ger en fin effekt på blommorna, och det ser ut som frost.

Jag bygger gärna mina kort med lager på lager. 

Under motivet har jag lagt wellpapp som jag först 

chalkat med Walnut Stain.

Därefter har jag målat med vit dekorationsfärg, 

för att åter chalka med Weathered wood.

Under detta har jag lagt en vit kakservett och lite cheese cloth.

Och ytterligare lite vit dekorationsfärg.

Hon är för sööt med lilla Rudolf i handen.
